Electrical Storm

After lying dormant for over half a century, a volcano erupts in Puyehue-Cordón Caulle, Chile resulting in a rather fantastic display of lights.

Three days ago I killed …

Three days ago I killed twenty-seven men.
Not much to say to that, huh, Elf?

You were enraged?

All the way to the bone.

And these men, they had earned this rage?

You’re looking for an excuse.

No, my friend, I’m straining to understand. Because if you tell me that these twenty-seven men were innocents all, then you are everything you have always feared yourself to be. And you would have to be stopped.

And you’d stop me?

No. But I would die trying.

Gods No!!

According to the story on Variety:
“New Italian production outfit First Sun has acquired the rights to remake Dario Argento’s classic 1977 horror movie “Suspiria” as an English-language film.”

I guess it might not be so bad if the folks involved were just a bunch of fanboys and wanted to remake Suspiria out of love.

A bad idea in my opinion, but what the hell do I know? *shrugs*

After reading the next bit of the article it seems to me First Sun is only interested in pimping the movie for all its worth.

” ‘Suspiria’ has a unique style that we want to reinvent for today’s generation.” “We intend to create a concept that will encompass cinema, videogames, fashion and music and that revives the original for those who did not experience it. The Gothic resurgence is very strong around the world at the moment … and we feel that a new version of ‘Suspiria’ will fit very well.”

Now I’m sad.
