Every one of us. Especially Ignatius Perrish.

For sometime during the night Ig has begun to grow Horns…

Haunted- a movie?

Can it be true? Haunted made into a movie?

“Former ICM lit agent Brian Levy has launched a management and production company, New School Media.
Levy’s first move under the new banner is optioning the rights to Chuck Palahniuk‘s Haunted.
Koen Mortier will direct.”

Just the thought of someday being able to watch any of the stories that Haunted is made up of unfolding on the big screen makes me a happy happy gal.

Choke

“Victor Mancini, a sex-addicted med-school dropout, keeps his increasingly deranged mother in an expensive private medical hospital by working days at a Colonial Williamsburg theme park. At night Victor scams upscale restaurants by deliberately choking in order to form parasitic relationships with the wealthy patrons who “save” him.”

I cant wait for this flick! Palahniuk is an amazing storyteller and Sam Rockwell delights, together they they have a chance to set all the worlds wrongs to right, or something…

“Young Wataru Mitani’s life is a mess. His father has abandoned him and his mother has been hospitalized after a suicide attempt. Desperately he searches for some way to change his life—a way to alter his fate.
To achieve his goal, he must navigate the magical world of Vision, a land filled with creatures both fierce and friendly. And to complicate matters, he must outwit a merciless rival from the real world.
Wataru’s ultimate destination is the Tower of Destiny where a goddess of fate awaits. Only when he has finished his journey and collected five elusive gemstones will he possess the Demon’s Bane—the key that will unlock his future.
Charity, bravery, faith, grace and the power of darkness and light: these are the provinces of each gemstone. Brought together, they have the immeasurable power to bring Wataru’s family back together again.”

curtain

the final curtain on one of the longest running
musicals ever, some people claim to have
seen it over one hundred times.
I saw it on the tv news, that final curtain:
flowers, cheers, tears, a thunderous
accolade.
I have not seen this particular musical
but I know if I had that I wouldn’t have
been able to bear it, it would have
sickened me.
trust me on this, the world and its
peoples and its artful entertainment has
done very little for me, only to me.
still, let them enjoy one another, it will
keep them from my door
and for this, my own thunderous
accolade.
