The Grapes of Wrath

I hate summer

I was attacked by bees today.
Twice! Little bastards.
I hate summer.

Gods No!!

According to the story on Variety:
“New Italian production outfit First Sun has acquired the rights to remake Dario Argento’s classic 1977 horror movie “Suspiria” as an English-language film.”

I guess it might not be so bad if the folks involved were just a bunch of fanboys and wanted to remake Suspiria out of love.

A bad idea in my opinion, but what the hell do I know? *shrugs*

After reading the next bit of the article it seems to me First Sun is only interested in pimping the movie for all its worth.

” ‘Suspiria’ has a unique style that we want to reinvent for today’s generation.” “We intend to create a concept that will encompass cinema, videogames, fashion and music and that revives the original for those who did not experience it. The Gothic resurgence is very strong around the world at the moment … and we feel that a new version of ‘Suspiria’ will fit very well.”

Now I’m sad.

Thank god its over.

Sid: How do you spell “holiday”?
John: S-H-I-T.
Sid and Nancy

Just call me Scrooge, but I despise the holidays. Period. End of story. And working retail for the better part of a decade has only made things worse. I swear, if it weren’t for my violent revenge fantasies I don’t think I would be able to make it through the day.

Poison Tree

I was angry with my friend:
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.

And I watered it in fears,
Night and morning with my tears;
And I sunnèd it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.

And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright;
And my foe beheld it shine,
And he knew that it was mine,

And into my garden stole,
When the night had veiled the pole:
In the morning glad I see
My foe outstretched beneath the tree.
